Overview
Interest Profiles let you tag yourself with the things you care about — hiking, fishing, boondocking, full-timing, pet travel, photography, or whatever defines your RV lifestyle. These interests help the platform connect you with compatible travelers and surface relevant recommendations.
Why it matters
Not all RVers travel the same way. A couple in a Class A doing resort stays has different needs than a solo van-lifer boondocking on BLM land. Interest profiles ensure the friends, campgrounds, and trips you discover actually match how you like to travel.
How it works
During onboarding or from your profile settings, select interests from a curated list of RV lifestyle categories. You can add as many as you like and update them anytime. Your interests are visible on your friend profile and feed into friend matching, campground recommendations, and group suggestions.
When to use it
- Signaling that you're into off-grid and boondocking so you connect with like-minded travelers
- Marking pet-friendly travel as a priority so recommended campgrounds reflect that
- Indicating you're a full-timer versus a weekend camper to set expectations with potential travel friends
- Finding other RVers interested in specific activities like kayaking, mountain biking, or stargazing
