Reservation Window Alerts
Get alerted when booking windows open at Thousand Trails and other campgrounds so you never miss your preferred dates.
Overview
Reservation Window Alerts notify you the moment a campground's booking window opens. Many parks — especially Thousand Trails — release reservable dates on a rolling schedule months in advance. This feature watches those windows and pushes an alert so you can act immediately.
Why it matters
Popular campgrounds fill within hours of their booking window opening. If you're not watching the calendar, you miss out. Reservation Window Alerts remove the guesswork and put you first in line without manually tracking dates.
How it works
- Add a reservation with your desired dates and campground.
- ProcrastiCamper calculates when the booking window opens based on the campground's known policy.
- You receive a push notification and in-app alert at the configured lead time (e.g., 24 hours before the window opens).
- Tap the alert to jump straight to booking.
When to use it
- You have a Thousand Trails membership and want to book the maximum 120 days out.
- A state park opens reservations 6 months in advance and fills quickly.
- You're planning a holiday-weekend trip where sites disappear on opening day.
- You want to coordinate with friends so everyone books the same window.
