Split Long Drives

Break up long driving days by adding overnight stops between destinations automatically.

Overview

Break up long driving days by adding overnight stops between destinations. ProcrastiCamper identifies when a driving segment exceeds your comfort threshold and suggests where to stop.

Why it matters

Driving an RV for 10+ hours is exhausting and dangerous. Many RVers set a personal limit of 4–6 hours per day. Split Long Drives ensures no single day exceeds your limit by suggesting campgrounds or rest points at natural breaking spots.

How it works

When you add two stops that are far apart, ProcrastiCamper calculates the driving time and, if it exceeds your configured threshold, suggests intermediate overnight stops. You choose from the suggestions and the new stop is inserted into your itinerary automatically.

When to use it

  • Planning a cross-country move with multiple driving days
  • Inserting rest stops into an aggressive itinerary
  • Finding campgrounds at the midpoint of a long drive
