Automatic Meetup Detection
ProcrastiCamper automatically detects when friends will be at the same campground and suggests meetups.
Overview
Automatic Meetup Detection scans your reservations and your friends' reservations to find overlapping stays at the same campground. When a match is found, you both get a notification suggesting you connect.
Why it matters
You might not realize a friend is booked at the same park the same week. Without a system watching for overlaps, these serendipitous meetup opportunities slip by unnoticed. Automatic detection turns coincidences into campfire plans.
How it works
- You and your friends add reservations to ProcrastiCamper (or import them).
- The system continuously compares stay dates and campground locations across your friend list.
- When an overlap is detected — same park, overlapping dates — both users receive an in-app notification.
- Tap the notification to view details, message each other, or create a Destination Event.
When to use it
- You have a large friend list of RV travelers and want to know when paths cross.
- You're staying at a popular park for two weeks and want to see if anyone you know overlaps.
- You'd like the system to do the coordination work so you can focus on traveling.
- You want to be surprised by unexpected meetup opportunities without manually checking calendars.
