Group Recommendations
Get campground and route recommendations tailored to your entire group's preferences, rig sizes, and interests.
Overview
Group Recommendations takes everyone's individual preferences into account — rig dimensions, hookup needs, interests, budget, pets — and suggests campgrounds and routes that work for the whole group, not just one person.
Why it matters
When one couple has a 40-foot Class A and the other has a 22-foot travel trailer, campground requirements don't line up. One needs full hookups, the other is fine boondocking. Group recommendations find places where everyone fits and nobody has to compromise on something critical.
How it works
The system pulls each group member's rig specifications, travel preferences, and interest profiles. It then filters campgrounds and routes to meet the most restrictive constraints — the biggest rig's length requirement, the strictest hookup needs, pet policies if anyone has animals. Results are ranked by how well they satisfy the whole group, with callouts for any trade-offs.
When to use it
- Finding a campground that can handle both a 42-foot fifth wheel and a small Class B in the same trip
- Getting route suggestions that avoid roads too narrow for the largest rig in the group
- Picking a park that satisfies the fishermen, the hikers, and the people who just want good WiFi
- Identifying parks with enough adjacent sites to keep the group together
