Overview
The QR Invite System lets you generate a personal QR code that other campers can scan to instantly connect with you on the platform. Meet someone at the campfire? Pull up your QR code, they scan it, and you're friends — no typing usernames or exchanging phone numbers.
Why it matters
In-person connections at campgrounds happen fast. You chat with your neighbor, they seem great, you say "we should stay in touch" — and then nobody follows through because exchanging contact info is awkward. A QR scan takes two seconds and makes the connection stick.
How it works
Open your profile or friends section and tap "My QR Code" to display your personal invite QR. The other person opens their camera or the in-app scanner and scans it. If they're already on the platform, you're connected immediately. If not, the QR directs them to sign up with your referral so you're linked as soon as they join.
When to use it
- Meeting fellow campers at a campfire or community potluck
- Connecting with someone at an RV rally, show, or meetup
- Sharing your profile at a Thousand Trails or Escapees gathering
- Quickly adding new friends during a group caravan without fumbling with usernames
