Overview
Booking Reminder Alerts send you a nudge before an upcoming reservation window closes or a campground is likely to fill. Unlike window alerts that fire when a window opens, booking reminders fire at a time you choose to make sure you actually complete the booking.
Why it matters
Knowing a window is open isn't enough — life gets busy and you forget to follow through. Booking reminders close the loop by prompting you at the right moment so your trip plans don't fall through the cracks.
How it works
- When you create or import a reservation, set a booking reminder (e.g., "remind me 2 days before check-in" or "remind me 1 week before the window closes").
- ProcrastiCamper schedules a push notification and in-app alert for that time.
- You receive the reminder with a direct link to complete or confirm your booking.
- Mark the reservation as booked to dismiss future reminders.
When to use it
- You've identified dates but haven't committed yet and want a safety net.
- A friend shared trip dates and you need to book your own site nearby.
- You have multiple upcoming trips and want reminders staggered across your calendar.
- You want a final "book it now" nudge the day before a popular window closes.
